Today is dated May 30, 2009. The morning session I had to attend the B.Ed TESL (Overseas Students) Convocation at IPGM KBA as one of the technical crew. I am in charge with the overseeing of the running of the "screen-show" of the event. At 8.30am, we had to rehearsed again before the main event started at 9.30am. Alhamdulillah, everything goes fine, that's what the people said after a fine showing. Left my duties at about 12.45pm after the events were done. Went straight home as I promised Subri to attend the 2nd wedding of Tuan Wan Azlan and Yong's daughter in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi (88 km from Segambut).

This invitation was received about a month  ago, so one can never say no
for not coming unless something urgent was called for .... 

This time the patron changed the time from noon to the evening. The wedding ceremony started at 5.00pm till 10.00pm. By 3.30pm, I was on my way to USJ 3/3N to Subri's place bringing along my madam and my youngest, Nur Aqilah. Reached USJ 3/3N at about 4.15pm and we quickly took off as Tuan Haji Asmadinar was waiting for us at the 2nd Toll booth of LDP. The weather was  quite cool today, and so the total for our convoy were Subri, wife and three children, Haji Asmadinar, wife and 3 children and myself, madam and my daughter).

Filled my vehicle with fuel and sped off, upon the second toll we saw and met Haji Asmadinar by the road and signalled to him to moved on. 5.30pm we reached Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi and performed Asar prayers at BBST mosque before heading to Taman Dahlia. About 6.00pm, we reached  4, Jalan 3/6, Taman Dahlia at headed for the food. Upon reaching we met Zaini Noor and spouse who came earlier, and so was Haji Aziz Zabidi and wife, Sarmat Othman, Ahmad Tamim, Shamsurie Che Court and Ir Sufyang Rahmang.

Alhamdulillah, we managed to chat for a short while as they were ready to go and Jamal Sulaiman and family just came in. He brought his wife and two big boys and Mat Hussing came alone, while Ku Nyo and wife came a bit later. Sarmat as usual wanted to go home so I cant snap a pic of him and I can only managed this ....

 

No prize for guessing but I am happy to meet them especially
guy no 3 and guy no 5  ( who I last met in 1977 ), while guy no 1, 2, 4 and 6 no problem .

They met years ago ....

That's the last snap I can managed, as it was getting dark, the veterans just talked a little and the patron were  busy ; so nothing can be said. Azman Yusoff, Haji Zulflida called me but I told them we were at the mosque for maghrib prayers as it was about 8.15pm and the others were still no where to be seen. We met Tuan Wan Azlan and Yong before we left and moved to the mosque.

What can be said, alhamdulillah as the wedding goes nicely and smoothly, more peaceful than the previous; the others maybe made their presence during the blistering dark hours;  Idrus Che Mat also called me but we were on the way back to KL. Reached USJ and went for a short visit to Puan Umi Kalsom (batch of 75)  for a cup of tea. By 10.00pm, sent Subri and family home and myself reached Segambut at about 10.30pm.

Happy to attend the invitation and also met few long lost friends; I dont want to think of anything else anymore as had to accept the facts of life, friendship remains to be seen ...  insyaallah maybe we'll meet again ... wasalam.

Wah Ajit, your posting was very fast. I think that is expected of you ..... jangan kembang pulak. Yang beside aku tu is my one and only wife, tak dak extra .... I am one of Dr. Love drop-out student. By the way Wan Tojis called me as I left, he planned to come at 830 with Tok Arab

ooh it's u "the guy who doesn't get the map but got a wife instead"; esei no kombang one, just doing a small barakah for my journal as I know and hoping for the moderator to do so pakai dak lah; Dr Love pun ada called me but as mentioned we were at the mosque for Maghrib prayers; Wang Azlang pong kabor gok yang Haji Tojis on the way tapi kami pong on the way home too ...

Myself and family, plus Arju and Zahari and families convoyed and reached BBST at about 9 pm.
Felt sorry not able to meet the early birds like Che Kot (whom I last met in England, Loughborough I think way back in 1979??, and Suyfang (since 1977)).
But We Aziz was there, so were Khairul Arab, Shaifulizan, Zulflida, Mat Mude, Ngom, Man Kucup, Che Tom (did I miss anyone?)
The atmosphere was lively, with people coming and going.
As usual, most left closed to mid nite, a few even later, including the writer :)

Thanks ajit, Not sure if Shahrul took much pjotos, dia bawa camera but I did not notice him taking any pictures.... to busy eating. We left about midnite, the last to leave. Reached home about 1.30......... Wassalam.

i) hanya kamera yang mahal dan berfungsi sahaja yang perlu dibawa;
ii) hanya kamera yang mampu mengambil banyak gambar banyak sahaja yang perlu dibawa;
iii) hanya kamera yang sudah dicharge bateri dalam "full' mode sahaja yang perlu dibawa;
iv) hanya kamera yang digital memori yang tinggi sahaja yang perlu dibawa;
v) hanya kamera sendiri dan sedia berkongsi dengan rakan-rakan sahaja yang perlu dibawa;
vi) pastikan dikongsi dengan kawan-kawan secepat mungkin dan tak perlulah memberi alasan tiada masa atau tak sempat nak kongsi;
vii) pastikan anda sedia dan ikhlas berkongsi dan jangan bagi banyak alasan jika ditanya
viii) dah tak tahu nak tulih dah, pikiak sendiri lah ... atau ada penambah terpulanglah ...
