Allahuakbar, the "damien" dah muncul kembali !
We took off early in the morning for another memorable occassion for the family. I wrote in the journal entry 25061, Sunday, January 27th 2008 on this. And alhamdulillah my daughter again walked the lane of UiTM for the 2nd time, and this time in the 68th UiTM Convocation.

This time she told me, "Baba, I'm now wearing the hood". That's different from last time. Being a father (am I a nerd ?), I asked her "what is a hood?". Well some time, though educated (to say) you may not know all even though it's just a piece of cloth rounding the robe, implying the person wearing it is now an undergraduate, being the last was her diploma.

Well, we waited until all the reciepents went into Dewan Seri Budiman, and as for my wife, children and I, we prefered to be outside, so that it's easy for us to walk around, to the loo, to eat or whatever. It as about 11.30 when all the guests were ushered for break, imagine waiting from 8.30am to 11.30 am, which signalled the end of the morning session. I heard for the morning session, the number receiving the scrolls were about 800.
All I can write and say is, Alhamdulillah and my thanks to Allah swt, for giving me and blessing me with an obedient, nice, good and an "undergrad" daughter. I am happy actually, really happy but not proud yet. I am happy as again, at least one of my sibling had proven her worth, had showed me and make me think, had paved the way and path and showed what "smart work" is all about.
My daughter, is actually an average student, but she had in a way managed to upset the odds. I must salute her for what she had done,I guess her brothers and sister are happy and proud of her, I can also see the satisfying and beaming face of my wife. But Allah knows better, my daughter had to "quit" the Top-CIMA program, and just few days ago (20/5-22/5) she took another 3 Strategic Papers to qualify for the Top-CIMA, as she was offered the"Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi" scholarship for Bachelor in E-Commerce in Australia. She will now or insyaaallah own 2 degrees later, as soon become like the father i.e. a "teacher". Gone are the efforts, the smart work she put-up, and that is why I mentioned Allah knows the best. This is a chance (as people says), the chance to go and study overseas on government's money. I am happy and at the same time I am out of words. I can only pray for her success and happiness, and come Saturday, 31st , she'll be attending the BTN course in BTN Camp, Bukit Sagu, Kuantan till Jun 4th. On June, 11 and 14 she will taking her IELTS exam in Subang Jaya, which cost me RM530 (hope I can get the reimbursement).
The official from the Ministry wanted her to be in Australia by July, 2008 pending the IELTS, and they are now looking for a place for her in Australia or Tasmania. Anymore to say, I am without tears, but deep inside I am happy , really happy and will always pray for her and her brothers and sister. At least, I know that I am in the good books of Allah as my daughter had helped me by showing what comes from her is from the parents. To my daughter, Nur Aliyah Azizi, mother, your brothers and sister and I, would like to thank you for making us happy thru your achievement. Keep up your good spirit, and may you be blessed by Allah swt. Enjoy your days and may Allah bless you with happiness and good health. All the best and warm wishes to you.
We love you ! Wasalam
Note :
Alhamdulillah , Jun 25, 2008 the result for IELTS came out and she managed a Good User result.
